Liquid-Liquid Separation

FILSEP exclusive series liquid-liquid coalescing elements are specially designed to coalesce extremely fine aerosol mists from natural gas, primarily lubricating oil downstream of a compressor. Series CFP is designed to be utilized in place of the CF series where it is desired to utilize the additional surface area and ultra-efficiency for solids stage (through pleated paper) and the coalescence of liquid mists (through pleated micro-fiberglass). This additional surface area also reduces the differential pressure when flowing high flowrates. The CFP element is guaranteed to coalesce and remove 99.5% of all liquid droplets 0.3 micron and larger and 99.99% of all solid particles 0.3 micron and larger from gas streams. Flow direction through element is from inside-out which enhances the coalescing process via velocity-reduction.

Teflon Coated Screen (TCS ) Cartridges are, by far, the most popular type of separator element with proper cleaning and inspection, cost effective TCS elements can be reused over many coalescer cartridge changeout cycles.
